The Bulgarian organization LGBTIQ+ Action a.k.a. Deystvie reached out to us for developing the creative concept and the production of the second edition of ‘The Courage to Be’ book. The book represents eleven stories from their organization’s practice. LGBTIQ+ Action provides pro-bono legal services for the community in Bulgaria. They use advocacy tools for legislation changes in the country.
In order to recreate the reality reflection that the stories in the book represent we chose the mirror-like material for the covers. This way everyone who holds ‘The Courage to Be’ in their hands will be able to see themselves in it and feel part of the change.
